Alpenglo Mapping offers general purpose and specialty map and geographic services locally, nationally, and worldwide.

About the name:

Alpenglow refers to an optical phenomenon that occurs just after sunset in the mountains. Alpine faces and ridges are illuminated by sunlight reflected off particles in the upper atmosphere, resulting in a orange to pink glow. We believe that a well-designed map should also glow with a special quality that helps the user better visualize the terrain it portrays.

Alpenglo Mapping is owned and operated by Nicholas Caselli. Nicholas'  B.S. in Geology combine with a professional background in natural hazards and environmental compliance helped develop his mapping and GIS skills. Nicholas has also worked in the outdoor recreation industry as a mountaineering, ski mountaineering, and whitewater river guide and currently guides for Shasta Mountain Guides and Silverton Mountain.
